The Mandasaru Valley Nature Camp is located at the hilltop with a panoramic view of the Mandasaru Gorge. There are two watch towers, a childrens’ park, a plantation, a dining hall, six cottages and even a grotto within the resort area.

PISU GLUNDU Waterfalls – 500 meters from Mandasaru Gorge
The Entry Gate to this beautiful waterfall in Mandasaru, tucked within the deep forests of Mandasaru Gorge is just half-a-kilometer from our resort. A modest hike of around 400 meters from the Entry Gate would take you to a Watch Tower overlooking the Pisu Glundu Waterfall. If you are fit enough, then take another short trek of 20 minutes or so to reach the base of the waterfall.
DARINGBADI – 33 kms. from Mandasaru Gorge
Perched at an altitude of around 3000 feet above sea level, Daringbadi is located at the heart of Eastern Ghats. Widely known as “Kashmir of Odisha” this popular tourist destination has occasionally recorded sub zero temperatures in winters. Daringbadi is gifted with Pine forests, lush green valleys and plateaus dotted with Coffee Gardens, Black pepper and Turmeric gardens. Tourists visit Daringbadi to explore its various parks, tribal heritage and natural beauty.
BHANJANAGAR – 75 kms. from Mandasaru Gorge
The Bhanjanagar Dam located at the northern part of the city bounds the beautiful 65 square kilometer Bhanjanagar Lake. The panoramic view of the reservoir is a popular tourist attraction. A huge park, named “Biju Patnaik Children’s Park” has recently come up on the shores of the lake with various attractions like toy train ride, Science Park, Model Zoo, musical fountain etc. In April 2013, the tallest Shiva statue of Odisha was built at Beleswar Hill Top, located close to the Bhanjanagar water reservoir.
PHULBANI – 75 kms from Mandasaru Gorge
Phulbani is a hill town located at an altitude of around 2500 feet above sea level. The River Salunki bounds this picturesque town which is very rich in tribal heritage and culture. The beautiful Putudi waterfall which is around 15 kms from Phulbani and the Pillasalunki Dam just 03 kms away from the town are the major tourist attractions of Phulbani.
KALIAMBA FOREST – 45 kms from Mandasaru Gorge
Deep within the Udaygiri Forest Range is the Kaliamba beat. Here, you would find a beautiful tree house perched on a giant Ficus Tree. This giant tree and other trees surrounding it are home to Giant Squirrels who build their nests on the branches of these trees with twigs and leaves. Staying a few days with Giant Squirrels as your neighbour within the deep jungle will surely prove to be a lifetime experience.
The gorge covers 5.28 sq. kms. and falls under Lendrika Reserve Forest. The Mandasaru Gorge is around 820 feet deep from the main land plateau, which is 2500 feet above sea level. The Mandasaru Village, from which the gorge gets its name, falls under the Gumamaha Panchayat – 12 kms from the nearest main town of Raikia and 90 kms from Phulbani.
